In order to give athletes the best and safest experience the access road to the main beach car park will be closed off for most of the day for non-participants. Athletes and spectators will be given vehicle access to the forest prior to (time to be confirmed) on the day. Athletes and spectators will not be allowed to take vehicles off site until the end of the event.
You may want to share a ride with family and supporters. Once the entrance is closed spectators and supporters are able to park off site and walk or cycle in to experience the buzz. Alternatively watch from somewhere else on the cycle route. Only the access road main car park and "locals" car park will be restricted all other car parks around the woodland will be open, approx 1 mile walk/ride from these car parks to the transition area – superb surroundings to enjoy.....
Where to stay - we would recommend the Royal Victoria Hotel in Llanberis as a great place to stay in North West Wales. For Anglesey there are lots of options at the Visit Anglesey website as well as a number of local options to Newborough...
