Holyhead, North Wales has superb road, rail and ferry links. It is incredibly easy to find. Use the postcode: LL65 1YA to locate the Event Village.
By Road
The Tour de Mon Registration and Event Village are conveniently situated about 1 mile from the end of the A55 dual carriageway. It is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes from Chester, 2 hours from Liverpool, 2 hours and 20 minutes from Manchester and 3 hours and 15 minutes from Birmingham when travelling by car.
By Train
Holyhead Railway station is on the main line and can be reached from all over the UK. Trains take about 4 hours from London and 2 hours from Manchester.
The Holyhead Station is less than a mile away from the Event Village. Taxi and Bus services also operate to and from Holyhead Station.
If you are intending on travelling by train please remember to check if a cycle reservation for your journey is required in advance of travel. More information regarding taking bikes on trains can be found on the National Rail website.
By Ferry
If you're planning a trip to the Tour de Mon from Ireland, ferries depart from either Dublin Port or Dun Laoghaire and go directly to Holyhead Port. Holyhead Port is located about 1 mile from the Tour de Mon Event Village. The quickest crossings take just 99 minutes. Services are operated by two companies:
Irish Ferries (Dublin Port to Holyhead)
Stena Line (Dublin Port - Holyhead / Dun Laoghaire to Holyhead)
